Lets Talk Value
As a creative, do you understand your value? Many don’t and sometimes that can be problematic. Note: I was a graphic & web designer in the past. I’m now a full time photographer, (digital content director, if you’re fancy). I will speak for creatives as a whole, but specifically with my experiences as a photographer.
When starting out many creatives fall into 1 of 3 categories (if not 2 or all 3):
Hoosiers Helping Houston
Indiana residents have been eager to show their Hoosier hospitality and support those impacted by Hurricane Harvey. Hoosiers Helping Houston is a committee comprised of stakeholders within Central Indiana from the business, political, faith, academic, and local community.
In an unprecedented fashion The United Media Network of Indianapolis, which is representative of all media outlets in Central Indiana, has partnered together to support the campaign.
Los Angeles
It’s been a long time, actually, I’ve never been! LA, I will be there working from December 8th-12th 2016. I’m looking for other creatives to team up with, models, and more!

What Camera should YOU buy?
Ahhhh maybe the #1 repeated question that I hear.. “What camera should I buy?” Me being a technical person, I break it down every time into terms that the average person doesn’t even understand. So to make my days go easier, I’ve created a blog. I will always update it and keep a link too lol.
Plain and Simple:
All cameras take pictures.
All cameras take pictures.
All cameras take pictures.
All cameras take pictures.
Indianapolis Senior Portraits for the Homeless
For the second year in a row, a group of Indianapolis photographers have provided senior portraits for homeless students. The story was covered by WTHR Channel 13 Indianapolis.
A group of homeless Indiana high school students got the chance to take senior pictures Saturday.
The annual photo sessions are put together by Studio 57 and Outreach, a group that works with homeless youth. The kids get makeup and hair stylists, plus lunch and a presentation celebrating the students’ accomplishments.
“Sometimes I feel like it’s just me, but then man… you get to hear everybody’s stories and it’s like wow… and it brings you closer because you know what they’ve been through and you know you have similar stories,” said Britney Long, a senior at Arsenal Tech.
It’s an event that touches everyone involved.
“The girls love it. It makes them feel really good. They love it when they get all dolled up and get their pictures taken,” said Andrea Smith, owner of Studio 57. “To actually have access to all these professional photographers, makeup artists — I love the way that it makes them feel.”
The Outreach program helps students get transportation, school supplies, caps and gowns, and helps them apply for college and financial aid.
